MDC’s Fall 2020 Term

Dear MDC Family,

We are a couple weeks away from the start of the fall term. I want to take this opportunity to share with everyone what MDC is doing to keep our students and employees safe on our campuses.

Although the majority of our instruction and work will remain remote for now, we are well prepared as an institution for a shift to more face-to-face classes and employee presence on campus should conditions allow it. As we’ve shared before, this switch will not be automatic. We are carefully monitoring the local COVID-19 situation and will let everyone know well ahead of our potential switch date of September 28 in which direction we are going.

I know that staying healthy is on everyone’s mind, including mine. That’s why it is important that I reemphasize that safety continues to be MDC’s top priority for all students, faculty, and employees. We take this very seriously and this fact drives all the decisions we make on behalf of the entire MDC family.

I encourage everyone to watch my video and read MDC’s “Safe Return Roadmap” to learn more about how we are ensuring the health and safety of our students and employees for the fall term and beyond.

Thanks to everyone for staying focused and engaged. May you all remain well and moving forward.
