Rodkeshia Louis is a mom, wife, full-time employee and an MDC student who starts her day at 4 a.m. to take two buses to get to campus. For years, Rodkeshia squeezed in classes at Miami Dade College when she could afford it. Last year, she was awarded a scholarship through MDC allowing her to complete her associate degree in May. Today, she’s on track to pursue her bachelor’s in public administration at MDC.
