Miami Dade College will host another round of Enroll America informational workshops on the Affordable Care Act (ACA), answering questions and providing assistance regarding Florida’s insurance marketplace. Free and open to the public, the workshops will be held throughout the months of January and February at various MDC campuses. The enrollment deadline is Feb. 15.
Trained volunteers will be on hand to help guide MDC students, employees and the community on the application and enrollment process. This effort is focused on connecting the community with the right resources and information allowing for the selection of a health insurance plan that best fits individual needs and budgets.
Space is limited, so reserve today. For more information or to RSVP for free, please visit the Get Covered America website.
Enroll America and its Get Covered America campaign are also offering MDC students, employees and everyone in the community one-on-one health care enrollment assistance through a series of office hours available at North, Wolfson, Kendall, Homestead and InterAmerican campuses.
