Miami Dade College and the Lennar Foundation have launched MDC Builds, a program that prepares students for entry-level construction jobs. Employment for construction laborers and helpers is expected to grow at a faster than average pace (12% between 2016-2026) according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
