In honor of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week, on behalf of Miami Dade College, I wanted to share a short video of gratitude dedicated to all EMS professionals. Now in its 46th year, this national celebration pays tribute to Emergency Medical Services practitioners and the important work they do in every community throughout the country.
The important contributions of these brave medical professionals, along with those of other first responders, deserve to be especially highlighted now during our current global situation with COVID-19. Every single day, EMS practitioners leave their loved ones and risk their lives and health to protect the safety and well-being of every single one of us here in our community.
