Lace up your running/walking sneakers for MDC’s first-ever 5K Run/Walk for Education. On Saturday, Dec. 6, faculty, staff, students and members of the community will crisscross Kendall Campus to raise funds for the College’s athletic teams.
The race is open to beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. In addition to the 5K, there will be other activities, including a Zumba fitness warm-up, massages and the Shark Kids Dash, a non-competitive event for children 12 and under, as well as a Kids Fitness Zone, including rock climbing, a bounce house and fitness classes. The event culminates with the Post-Race Shark Frenzy Celebration.
The race begins at 7:30 a.m. Registration cost is $20 through Dec. 5 and $40 the day of the race.
