‘The Young Turks on Fusion’ Will Visit Miami as part of 12-week Series during Final Stretch of 2016 Presidential Campaign

The Young Turks Hosts Ana Kasparian and John Iadarola to Be Joined by FUSION’s Alicia Menendez and comedienne Aida Rodriguez.

 Miami, Oct 10, 2016The Young Turks on Fusion – the weekly, hour-long live election-focused show from TYT Network and FUSION – will broadcast live from Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Wolfson Campus on Oct. 10, at 8 p.m., marking the show’s fifth episode.

Hosts Ana Kasparian and John Iadarola of The Young Turks will be joined by FUSION host Alicia Menendez and comedienne Aida Rodriguez.  The episode, which will air on FUSION’s cable channel and digital properties, will focus on the presidential election.  The Young Turks on Fusion premiered on Sept. 12 live from the University of Southern California Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism in Los Angeles. Hosted by Ana Kasparian and John Iadarola of The Young Turks and various voices from FUSION’s editorial team, ‘The Young Turks on Fusion’ aims to discuss the most important issues facing young people this election season.

From in-depth discussions on education reform and international terrorism, to man-on-the-street Q&As about the legalization of weed and game show segments, The Young Turks on Fusion is engaging college students and viewers nationwide leading up to the presidential election.

Ana Kasparian is a cohost of The Young Turks. She joined TYT as a fill-in producer in 2007 and has continually climbed through the ranks, eventually culminating in her position today as cohost.  Additionally, she served as producer and contributor for the Current TV show. During her tenure, the show has been honored for a variety of different accolades, including the 2011 People’s Voice Webby Award for “Best News & Political Series” as well as the 2009 “Best Political News Site” award.
