The Idea Center @ MDC to Present its next Installment of the Mike Fernandez Global Business Leadership Series with IBM’s Chief Innovation Officer April 18

Miami, April 10, 2017- The Mike Fernandez Global Business Leadership Series presents a conversation with Dr. Bernard Meyerson, Chief Innovation Officer at IBM Corporation, Tuesday, April 18 at 5:30 p.m., at the Idea Center at Miami Dade College (MDC). The presentation will be titled Creating Innovation DNA in Global Organizations.

The Mike Fernandez Global Business Leadership Series aims to provide students with first-hand knowledge of best business practices and leadership by inviting renowned executives to share their experiences and discuss new trends in their respective industries.

Dr. Bernard Meyerson, an IBM Fellow, invented Silicon: Germanium technology, ultimately founding and leading IBM’s highly successful Analog and Mixed Signal business. He went on to many executive roles, leading global semiconductor development, strategic alliances for the Systems and Technology Group, and culminating in his present role which began in 2010 as IBM’s Chief Innovation Officer.

The event will be moderated by Damian Thorman, MDC’s Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer.

MDC kicked off this new, dynamic speakers’ series in March with Laxman Narasimhan, President for PepsiCo Latin America.
