Miami, May 23, 2023 – The School for Advanced Studies (SAS) at Miami Dade College (MDC) will host an information session and panel discussion for high school students featuring representatives from the University of Pennsylvania, Princeton, Brown, Dartmouth, Stanford, University of Chicago and Johns Hopkins on Saturday, June 3, from 10 a.m. to noon at MDC’s Wolfson Campus in downtown Miami.
This forum will provide valuable insight into the complex admissions process at Ivy League universities and other top schools. Get the scoop on what makes an application competitive for admission, meet directors and assistant directors of the participating admissions staff and learn about academic programs and financial aid offered at the participating universities.
SAS, a combined effort between Miami-Dade County Public Schools and MDC, is a nationally recognized collegiate high school of excellence. Students attending SAS complete their last two years of high school while they obtain a two-year Associate in Arts degree from MDC. SAS is located on five MDC campuses.
