Miami, March 3, 2021 – Continuing one of its most beloved traditions, Miami Dade College (MDC) will celebrate the Class of 2021 with three Commencement Ceremonies on Saturday, May 1, at Marlins Park.
To ensure the safety of students, faculty and staff, the ceremonies will be held outdoors, with limited capacity and social distancing. Only students, College Trustees, and select faculty and administrators will attend. Families and friends of graduates may watch the ceremonies via livestream from anywhere in the world. In addition, there will be temperature checks upon entering the stadium, mandatory face masks at all times, and hand sanitizing stations available throughout.
Information on speakers, statistics on the graduating class, and additional instructions and details will be forthcoming. Throughout the years, MDC graduations have attracted renowned global leaders as commencement speakers including several U.S. Presidents, heads of state, members of cabinet and other luminaries.
