MIAMI, May 11, 2026 – Families across South Florida have a new way to combine fun with meaningful learning this summer through Miami Dade College (MDC)’s 2026 summer camps, offering a dynamic lineup of programs that go beyond traditional camp experiences by blending creativity, technology and early career exploration.
From artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship to coding, health care, languages and skilled trades, MDC is responding to the growing demand for programs that not only engage students but also prepare them for the future. Camps begin as early as June 8 and will be offered throughout the summer across multiple campuses. Space is limited, and camps fill quickly. Early registration is strongly encouraged.

HAVE FUN ALL SUMMER: WILD THINGS SUMMER CAMP

A fun and enriching summer experience designed for children curious about language and culture. Through hands-on activities and imaginative play, campers are introduced to the Spanish language while exploring the diverse cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. Each week, students “travel” to a different Spanish-speaking country, learning basic vocabulary and everyday phrases while discovering traditions, music, art and daily life. Through games, crafts, songs, storytelling and interactive projects, this camp makes learning Spanish natural, engaging and memorable.
