Miami, Sept. 16, 2020 – It’s not too late to take classes this semester. Registration is open for Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Fall Mini-Terms, which offer a wide variety of accelerated courses that can be completed in only eight or 12 weeks. The next mini-term begins Monday, Sept. 28.
MDC has been offering students various financial assistance opportunities since summer, including free courses, up to two classes when they pay for two. For Fall Mini-Terms the College is extending financial opportunities and incentivizing early enrollment. Students who register between Sept. 21 and Oct. 4, and are not currently enrolled for the fall semester, may qualify to receive free in-state tuition and fees for up to 12 credits. Students who register from Oct. 5 – 25 will receive up to $100 off per credit, calculated after all other funds are applied or made available.
Choose from more than 300 distinct degree pathways leading to bachelor’s degrees, associate in arts and science degrees and numerous credit certificates in growing fields, including cybersecurity, digital marketing, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems Technology, nursing, education, and more.

- Monday, Sept. 28 (12 weeks)
- Monday, Oct. 26 (8 weeks)
Fall classes are underway in remote format through Sept. 27. Starting Sept. 28, some courses will return to campus in a limited fashion with room capacity limits and strict social distancing guidelines.
