Miami, May 12, 2025 – From artificial intelligence, digital marketing and animation to fun camps, Miami Dade College (MDC) is offering a vast array of fun and educational summer camps for kids and teens, including several tech camps that are free of charge, or offer scholarships. EXPLORE THE FUTURE: AI TOOLS SUMMER CAMP

Kendall, North and Wolfson Campus

June 9-13

Discover how artificial intelligence (AI) tools are transforming everyday life and learn practical skills to use this groundbreaking technology. From exploring AI-powered apps to building your own creative projects, this hands-on camp will spark curiosity and prepare kids for the future. This summer camp for students ages 14 to 17, sponsored by a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF), is offered at no cost for participants but space is limited. MDC’S SCHOOL OF GLOBAL BUSINESS, TRADE & TRANSPORTATION

Hialeah, Homestead, Kendall, North and Padrón Campuses

June 9 – 27

Starting on June 9, MDC will offer six one-week camps across several MDC campuses for students ages 15 to 17. Camps will focus on digital marketing, AI in business, entrepreneurship and building a professional brand. All summer camps feature the latest industry trends and technologies, hands-on learning activities and include a field trip. Lunch will be provided daily. The cost per camp is $30.00. MDC’S MIAMI ANIMATION & GAMING INTERNATIONAL COMPLEX (MAGIC)

Wolfson Campus

June 9 – July 7

The MAGIC Summer Camp encourages students ages 14-19 to embark in a transformational experience through “Animation” and “3D Game Design” summer camps focusing on storytelling, 3D modeling, coding, game design, character animation and creating interactive simulations for Virtual and Augmented reality platforms. This camp provides each student with an established path for personal growth and learning and features hands-on, project-based education infused with the latest in the creative industries, animation, video game development, VR, 3D printing technology and equipment. Instructors include highly respected tech educators, accomplished artists, and industry professionals who have a passion for sharing their knowledge. KIDS & TEENS COLLEGE

Kendall Campus

The weekly Kids & Teens College summer campus provides an educational yet fun environment where kids, teens, and parents can customize their schedule and choose classes they like the most, choosing from a wide variety of weekly programs and activities such as art and crafts, computers and technology, public speaking, dance, and much more. WILD THINGS HAPPEN

Kendall Campus

June 9 – July 28

Weekly, traditional, fun-filled summer camp for children ages 5 – 11. Activities include arts and crafts, sports, computers, reading, dancing, indoor games, pool activities and filed trips. Field trip, lunch and snack included. To register, please visit  www.mdc.edu/summercamps.
