The Miami Dade College Presidential Search Committee will hold a meeting on Wednesday, October 28th, 2020. The meeting will begin at 2:00 p.m. It will be held at the Wolfson Campus located at 300 N.E. 2nd Avenue, Miami, Florida in the Chapman Conference Center (Room 3210).
At this meeting, the committee will discuss the slate of applicants and select candidates for first round interviews for the position of College President.
Please be advised that due to the Center for Disease Control’s recommendations and the College’s Recovery Plan Phase 2, in-person attendance at the Presidential Search Committee meeting will be limited. To ensure public access to the meeting once the capacity is reached in the Chapman Conference Center, the College will open Room 1101 where persons will be able to view the meeting via the livestream video at https://www.mdc.edu/livestream.
Persons seeking to attend the in-person meeting will have to pass a temperature screening checkpoint, must wear a mask at all times, and follow social distancing guidelines. Persons who do not pass the temperature screening checkpoint will not be allowed to enter the campus. Persons not wearing or refusing to wear a mask, or who refuse to follow social distancing guidelines may be escorted off Campus by designated officials. These persons can continue to access the meeting via livestream.
Individuals with disabilities as defined under the American with Disabilities Act who wish to attend the Presidential Search Committee Meeting and need special accommodations can request them by calling 305-237-0269 or through the Florida Relay System (1-800-955-8771) not later than seven (7) days prior to the meeting on this notice.
