Miami, July 26, 2024 – Miami Dade College (MDC) will launch ExCEL: Excellence Center for Educator Learning, a transformative initiative aimed at empowering educators to achieve their highest potential. The ceremony to launch the center will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30, at MDC Padrón Campus. The keynote speaker will be Clint Pulvert, an Emmy Award-winning motivational speaker, author, musician and workforce expert. Working media is welcome.
This first-of-its-kind comprehensive professional learning center at MDC will empower educators at every stage of their career by offering a diverse range of opportunities, from certifications for new teachers and career changers to academic endorsements and recertification courses designed to enhance a teacher’s credential. All courses are aligned with state requirements to streamline certification pathways.
