Miami Dade College’s North Campus to Host Career and Job Fair July 20

Miami, July 19, 2022 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) North Campus will host a Career and Job Fair, organized by Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava and CareerSource South Florida on Wednesday, July 20, from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Students and community members can meet face-to-face with nearly 40 employers of departments at Miami-Dade County, which are hiring for more than 500 open positions in all industries from entry-level to experience. This event is free and open to the public.

“Miami Dade College cares about our students and community by always seeking new ways to open doors for them to find new jobs and to complete a higher education,” said MDC North Campus Interim President Fermin Vazquez. “I encourage all those looking for their next career move to come out and help strengthen our community’s economic recovery.”

Thirty-seven Miami-Dade County departments will be present at the job fair. Attendees are encouraged to bring copies of their resumes and two forms of identification in case a job offer is offered on the spot.

“I am thrilled for our agency to have joined in partnership with Miami Dade College, a top college in the country,” said Eulois Cleckley, Miami-Dade County Department of Transportation and Public Works Director and CEO. “Through this new endeavor, we will be able to appeal to a greater number of potential and well-trained candidates who want to join the Miami-Dade Transit family and be a part of the team that’s transforming the way people move in Miami.”
