Miami, Sept. 8, 2026 — Miami Dade College’s (MDC) North Campus will host a special 25th Anniversary of the Sept. 11 Commemoration, “We Promise to Never Forget,” honoring the lives lost and the heroes who emerged following the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001. The ceremony will bring together MDC students, police and fire academy recruits, faculty, staff, community leaders and members of the public to reflect on the enduring impact of that day and reaffirm a commitment to remembrance.
