Miami Dade College to Celebrate National Library Week April 4-10

Miami, March 23, 2021 –  Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Learning Resources Department joins libraries in schools, campuses, and communities around the country to celebrate National Library Week “Virtually,” April 4-10This year’s theme is “Welcome to Your Library!”

Welcome to Your Library promotes the idea that libraries extend far beyond the four walls of a building. Throughout the pandemic, libraries have been adapting and going above and beyond to meet the needs of the communities they serve. Whether people visit in person or virtually, libraries offer endless opportunities to transform lives through education and lifelong learning. MDC’s Learning Resources Department is supporting its community with enhanced remote services, including online Tutoring, Skillshops, Remote Faculty Support, Ask a Librarian, and more.
