Miami Dade College Presents First Installment of New AI Speaker Series Featuring Noelle Silver of IBM Feb. 23

Miami, Feb. 22, 2022 – Miami Dade College (MDC) introduces a new Artificial Intelligence (AI) Speaker Series. The first AI Speaker Series event will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23, at MDC’s The Idea Center, featuring Noelle Silver, AI and Analytics Executive, IBM. This event is free and open to the public.

In an effort to provide a better understanding and connect the community with AI, the College will present various thought leaders as part of this new speaker series. The first event coincides with the MDC’s announcement of multimillion investments to expand technology programs, especially AI.

Silver is a multi-award-winning technologist and entrepreneur who specializes in conversational AI and Voice Technology, Operationalizing Data Science and Cloud Native App Development in the hybrid cloud. She has led teams at NPR, Microsoft, and Amazon, and is a consistent champion for public understanding of AI and tech fluency. She is a Partner Executive in AI at IBM and is passionate about mindful leadership, authentic personal branding, and the ethical and responsible use of technology. Silver was recently awarded the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional award for AI, as well as VentureBeat’s Women in AI Responsibility and Ethics award.
