Miami, Feb. 3, 2022 – Miami Dade College (MDC) has partnered with Management Leadership for Tomorrow’s (MLT) Career Prep program to provide MDC students with personalized guidance, effective tools, and a powerful professional network to secure highly competitive internships and early career opportunities in all industries, including consulting, tech and finance. The deadline to apply is Feb. 15. Free for MDC students accepted in the program.
MLT is a national nonprofit that provides Black, Hispanic, and Native American talent with the coaching, playbook, and networks they need in order to excel in high-trajectory careers, secure economic mobility for their families, and become high-impact senior leaders equipped to advocate for vulnerable communities. MLT’s Rising Leaders—8,000 and growing—are propelling change across organizations and communities throughout the nation and worldwide.

Through the 18-month career development program, a cohort of MDC students will explore their strengths, passions, and interests in order to prepare and plan for successful careers in business and tech. The Career Prep program includes individualized and group career development coaching, exposure and access to over 60 prestigious employers, skill development seminars hosted virtually and around the country, alumni network of over 8,000 professionals, and 1-on-1 coaching. The program is open to MDC students pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
Eligibility Requirements:
- College student graduating with a bachelor’s in December 2023, Spring 2024, or Summer 2024
- S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident (includes DACA participants)
- African American, Hispanic, or Native American.
