Miami, May 27, 2025 – Miami Dade College (MDC) and the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to facilitate academic collaboration between the two leading institutions on artificial intelligence (AI), business, technology, culinary and engineering.
“We are excited to partner with Universidad Argentina de la Empresa as our missions and core values are aligned in serving our communities through access to education,” said Miami Dade College President Madeline Pumariega. “Together, we are creating new pathways that prepare students to navigate and lead on a global scale.”
The MOU establishes a framework to promote shared learning, broaden educational opportunities and advance innovation through the use of artificial intelligence. Future collaborations include joint research projects, workshops and training sessions to enhance faculty’s knowledge and skills in AI. Students will have the opportunity to participate in virtual sessions on a variety of topics including finance, business, leadership and technology, designed to promote learning and cross-cultural understanding. In addition, collaborative projects with students across disciplines will focus on creating solutions through a business competition, cybersecurity project and applied AI project.
“The signing of this agreement with Miami Dade College reinforces our commitment to quality education that is globally connected and future oriented,” said Dr. Hector Masoero, President of the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa. “International collaboration not only enriches the academic experience of our students and faculty but also enhances our capacity to innovate. In a context where artificial intelligence is redefining educational processes, building strategic alliances like this one allows us to anticipate, learn together and lead responsibly.”
