Miami, April 7, 2022 – Miami Dade College (MDC) Artificial Intelligence (AI) Speaker Series presents Supply Chain AI Models in Action, a conversation with Dr. Mani Janakiram at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, at MDC’s The Idea Center. Dr. Janakiram is the Senior Director and Senior Principal AI Engineer at Intel. The event will focus on how the supply chain is a critical component of industry and society. This event is free and open to the public.
The AI Speaker Series at MDC aims to provide students, professionals and community members with first-hand knowledge of the latest AI trends and practices by inviting renowned AI professionals to share their experience and discuss how AI is impacting all industries.
Dr. Janakiram previously worked for Honeywell and Motorola, and has more than 25 years of experience, including in the automotive and aerospace industries. He is also an adjunct professor at Arizona State University. Dr. Janakiram has a doctorate in industrial engineering, a master’s in business administration and two patents. He has also published more than 100 papers. In addition, he is a Six Sigma Master Black Belt, a fellow of the Association for Supply Chain Management, and one of CIO.com’s Top 50 analytics executives.
