MDC’s North Campus to Host the Hispanic Heritage Foundation’s Leader on the Fast Track Program

Miami, Feb. 6, 2017Miami Dade College’s (MDC) North Campus will host the Miami STEM Leadership Symposium “Leaders on the Fast Track” (LOFT) leadership and workforce development program on Tuesday, Feb. 14 and Wednesday, Feb. 15.  The program aims to connect youth to each other, experts, resources, platforms, and career paths in STEM fields, business and finance, education and other fields.

Students will be participating networking opportunities with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) professionals; a dynamic and exclusive Leadership Training led by the U.S. Army, which is designed to help student leaders define their role within their schools and communities; and finally an insightful panel of STEM professionals showcasing their different careers paths, and the different resources and opportunities available for Latinos to enter the STEM fields.
