Miami, May 17, 2021 – Whether starting a business or a new blog about your favorite hobby, digital marketing has become essential for success. And the earlier you master it, the better. This summer, Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Business Innovation & Technology (BIT) Center will offer a Digital Marketing Summer Camp for high school students June 14 – 18. Sponsored by Dade County Federal Credit Union, the camp will be available virtually and in-person at the BIT Center, located at MDC Wolfson Campus in downtown Miami.
Taught by guest speakers from Google, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok students will learn the fundamentals for launching a business through today’s most popular digital marketing platforms. They will also discover how to build an organic social media strategy, launch a paid media campaign to a targeted audience, and how influencers work in the top networks.
MDC’s state-of-the-art BIT Center explores the role of technology in digital transformation, process automation and analytics in the ever-changing business landscape. The BIT Center is an initiative of MDC’s Miguel B. Fernandez Family School of Global Business, Trade & Transportation and offers various programs and courses in three core areas – marketing and digital marketing; banking and finance; and industry certifications.
