Miami, Nov. 1, 2016 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Miami Culinary Institute (MCI) will host Les Dames d’Escoffier Miami’s 2016 Women Leadership Symposium on Saturday, Nov. 5. Les Dames d’Escoffier Miami is an organization of women leaders in food, wine, hospitality and farming that draws on its membership’s resources and skills to improve education, nutrition and quality of life in their community.
At the event, MCI faculty, students and industry professionals will learn about the “Secrets to Marketing for the Food and Beverage Professionals” by twenty of the top experts, including keynote speaker Susan Ford Collins, coined “America’s premiere success and leadership coach by CNN; Liz Balmeseda, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist “How to Get the Media’s Attention”; Cynthia Seymour, Marketing Consultant and WordPress Blog Coach; and Cindy Hutson, Celebrity Chef and restaurateur.
In the past two years, the organization has awarded scholarships to MCI students Melissa Michel and Patricia Falcon.
