Miami, Aug. 31, 2018 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Kendall Campus, in partnership with the Consulate General of Mexico in Miami, will celebrate the independence of Mexico beginning at 5 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 15. The event is free and open to the public.
The fiesta will commemorate the 208th anniversary of Mexico’s independence from Spain by recreating a colorful plaza and bazaar featuring a live performance by the Homestead-Miami Mariachi Conservatory, traditional dances, games, crafts, foods, prizes, and much more! It has long been a tradition of the Kendall Campus.
