Miami, Nov. 4, 2020 – Miami Dade College (MDC) will once again illuminate its Historic Landmark Freedom Tower teal as part of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America’s annual “Light the World in Teal®” initiative on Thursday, Nov. 5, at sunset.
Hundreds of landmarks will participate to raise awareness about this devastating disease and show support for the millions of people affected worldwide. The public is encouraged to snap photos and post them to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #AFALightTheWorldInTeal.
