Miami, Sept. 27, 2016 – Miami Dade College (MDC) will illuminate its National Historic Landmark Freedom Tower pink to kick-off Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Monday, Oct. 3, at sundown.
The lighting will take place following the Wolfson Campus’ Power of Pink Dinner, presented in collaboration with the Susan G. Komen Foundation. In addition, Wolfson Campus students, faculty and staff will participate in the Susan G. Komen Miami/Ft. Lauderdale 2016 Race for the Cure set for Saturday, Oct. 15.
