MDC’s Carrie P. Meek Entrepreneurial Education Center to Host Kids Safe Zone Halloween Bash Oct. 31

Miami, Oct. 19, 2018- Ghost and goblins will come to life at the second annual Kids Safe Zone Halloween Bash, Wednesday, Oct. 31, 5-7 p.m., at Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Carrie P. Meek Entrepreneurial Education Center.  The event is free and open to the public.

Children will be able to enjoy a safe zone to celebrate the season. Festivities will include a haunted house, costumes contest, crafts, treats, scary movies, light refreshments, and more.

The Carrie P. Meek Entrepreneurial Education Center is an outreach center of Miami Dade College North Campus, founded in 1989. The Meek Center offers a specialized focus on business and entrepreneurship courses in addition to a vast array of college credit and non-credit courses for degree and non-degree and seeking students.  Additionally, the Meek Center provides opportunities for students to pursue short-term, workforce related, college certificate programs to enter into the labor market or become successful entrepreneurs.
