Miami, FL, August 21, 2023 — Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Business Innovation & Technology (BIT) Center will host “How Immersive Business Applications Transcend Boundaries,” a free, 60-minute masterclass featuring Lynn Welch, Chief Growth Officer at Lucid Reality Labs. The course explores how extended reality (XR) technologies can be used in business to go beyond conventional limitations and create innovative applications. This event will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 23 from Noon – 1 p.m. at MDC’s BIT Center at Kendall Campus. The class is open to the general public and will also will be livestreamed.
At the end of the session, students will comprehend the fundamental concepts, applications and differences among XR (Extended Reality) technologies; understand how Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR) are used in business; be familiar with real-world case studies showcasing successful integration of VR/AR/MR solutions in various industries; learn about the latest trends and developments in VR/AR/MR technology and how they impact business strategies, and recognize the benefits of incorporating VR/AR/MR into marketing, training and customer engagement strategies.
