Miami, April 13, 2021 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Business Innovation & Technology (BIT) Center, along with an industry expert from TikTok, will offer a webinar on TikTok- Unlocking Creativity and Joy from You on Thursday, April 22, from 12 – 1 p.m. The webinar is free and open to the public.
The rise of the short-video platform has produced a wave of emerging influencers. Some organizations have discovered best practices for using the platform to dispel misconceptions and provide critical information during the COVID-19 pandemic. This webinar, conducted by Clara Elliott-Bauza, Brand Partnerships Lead at TikTok, will explore how brands and nonprofits can use TikTok for marketing and messaging. Register for the webinar here.
This summer, the BIT Center will also offer a one-week Digital Marketing Bootcamp from June 14-18, 8:45 a.m. – 2 p.m., presented in collaboration with the School of Continuing Education & Professional Development. The bootcamp will take place both virtually and in-person at the Wolfson Campus. Participants will learn the fundamental concepts of launching a business through today’s most popular digital marketing platforms: Google, Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok. Attendees will also discover how to organically build a social media strategy, launch a paid media campaign to a targeted audience for effective results, and how influencers work in the top networks.
MDC’s state-of-the-art BIT Center explores the role of technology in digital transformation, process automation and analytics in the ever-changing business landscape. The BIT Center is an initiative of MDC’s Miguel B.
