Miami, FL, August 24, 2021 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Business Innovation & Technology (BIT) Center in collaboration with leading web development platform Wix will host a one-hour webinar on how to create a business or personal website on Wednesday, August 25, from 12 – 1 p.m. The webinar is free and open to the general public. Imparted by experts from Wix, the webinar will cover various aspects of website creation, teach how to use the platform, and explore professional design features and business applications. Attendees will also receive a free, one-year Wix premium plan.
This event is the first of several to come as a result of the recently established collaboration between the BIT Center and Wix that will provide the MDC community with many benefits, such as hands-on, customized workshops to help create or improve personal or professional websites; one-on-one sessions for students with Wix professionals; training sessions for faculty and career services staff; curriculum materials tailored to specific majors and topics and a one-year free premium plan that includes a free domain.
