Miami, Oct. 31, 2016 – Miami Dade College (MDC) will illuminate its National Historical Landmark Freedom Tower teal for National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month on Thursday, Nov. 3, at sunset. The lighting will take place on behalf of Miami Jewish Health and their effort to diagnose, treat and research Alzheimer’s disease.
MDC’s Freedom Tower is among several landmarks all over the world that will be illuminated teal on Nov. 3 in support of the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America’s “Light Up the World” initiative.
