MDC North Campus Site Offering Monoclonal Antibody Treatment

Miami, Jan. 18, 2022 – Miami Dade College (MDC), in partnership with the Florida Department of Emergency Management, is offering monoclonal antibody treatments at the College’s North Campus while supplies last. The site is open to students, staff and the public, but an appointment is required.

Monoclonal antibody treatments have been found to be very effective in preventing severe illness, hospitalization and death in high-risk COVID-19 patients. The treatment is authorized for individuals who are moderately to severely immunocompromised and may not mount an adequate immune response to COVID-19 vaccines. Also, for individuals with a history of severe adverse reactions to COVID-19 vaccines and/or components of the vaccines.

MDC’s North Campus vaccination site has administered more than 450,000 vaccines and counting. Testing is also available at all MDC campuses in collaboration with Curative. Walk-up or make an appointment at www.curative.com.
