Miami, Nov. 23, 2021 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) North Campus will present The Nutcracker ballet at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 3 in the Lehman Theater. Performed by the Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami, the production will dazzle with costumed characters and, of course, Tchaikovsky’s beautiful score. This event is free and open to the public.
The holiday season just wouldn’t be complete without the enchanting story of a little girl and her Nutcracker Prince, who overcome the malevolent Mouse King to journey to a fantastical Land of Sweets.
“The Nutcracker is such a wonderful tradition for our students, staff and the community at large,” said North Campus Interim President Fermin Vazquez. “We deeply felt its absence last year and are overjoyed to bring it back to its full splendor.”
