Miami, Feb. 2, 2024 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Medical Campus will host its 18th Annual Community Health Fair on Saturday, March 2, starting at 9 a.m. The Health Fair is free and open to the public.
The popular Health Fair will provide several key screenings, including glucose and cholesterol tests, as well as limited mammograms, dental and vision exams. There will also be a blood drive and information on asthma, prenatal care, dental care, diabetes, pet care, massage and stress relief, nutrition, heart disease, hypertension, cancer prevention and more. There will also be a Children’s Corner with face painting and activities for children, and food distribution by Farm Share, while supplies last.
The MDC Community Health Fair serves more than 2,000 people each year, and for many of those individuals served, it is the only medical attention and/or treatment they receive the entire year. It has truly become an invaluable resource for the community.
