Miami, May 2, 2023 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Kendall Campus is celebrating Mother’s Day weekend with a trip to the Middle East. Enjoy Arabian Voyage, a mesmerizing showcase of spellbinding music, dance and beautiful costumes with performances by the premier Mid East Performing Arts Academy, featuring over 40 student artists, instructors and local performers at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 13.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of this partnership between Mid-East Performing Arts Academy and MDC’s School of Continuing Education and Professional Development. The popular dance program began in 1997 and has evolved into one of the largest of its kind in South Florida, where students can learn this art form’s history, musicality and dance styles from all regions and eras of the Middle East.
