MDC and Farm Share Join Congresswoman Frederica Wilson, 5000 Role Models and UPS for Food Distribution Event August 25

MDC North Campus, 9 a.m. until supplies run out

Miami, August 19, 2020 – In response to the continued impact of COVID-19, Miami Dade College’s (MDC) North Campus will host a drive-thru food distribution on Tuesday, August 25, starting at 9 a.m. until supplies run out. This event is presented in collaboration with Farm Share, Congresswoman Frederica Wilson, the 5000 Role Models of Excellence Project and United Parcel Service (UPS).

Drivers must arrive from N.W. 32nd Avenue and enter the Campus at N.W. 110th Street/Stadium Drive and proceed on the road. Access from every other entrance will be denied. No walk-ups will be allowed. View the North Campus map here.

Farm Share is a non-profit organization that distributes food to individuals and families facing hardships, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, churches, and other organizations feeding the needy in Florida – free of charge. The organization’s mission is to alleviate hunger and malnutrition by recovering and distributing fresh and nutritious food to those who need it most.
