More: After a decade of general stability, dramatic change is once again sweeping the Americas region. Elections over the last year in Peru, Argentina, Venezuela, Mexico, and Canada have removed long-time ruling parties from power and pose new challenges for newly-elected leaders. In Brazil, Dilma Roussef faces impeachment amidst the country’s deep economic and political turmoil. The renewed diplomatic ties between the United States and Cuba have far-reaching implications for the future of the island, both economically and politically. Meanwhile, in the United States, all eyes are on the 2016 presidential election, which has brought with it a host of surprises. Concordia | The Americas will bring together world leaders from across the public, private and non-profit sectors to discuss how to best respond to the changing dynamics of the region, with the goal of identifying and deploying solutions to ensure a more prosperous and sustainable future.

Concordia enables public-private partnerships to create a more prosperous and sustainable future. It is a platform for leaders who are passionate about public-private partnerships (P3s). Through convening, research, and issue-based campaigns, Concordia raises the visibility of P3s and demonstrates how they can be used to help solve the world’s most pressing challenges. Nicholas M. Logothetis and Matthew A. Swift founded Concordia in 2011.
