American Entrepreneurship Award in Partnership with Miami Dade College and the Idea Center at MDC to Host Small Business Expo

Small Business Expo will be followed by the second annual American Entrepreneurship Awards

Miami, FL – The American Entrepreneurship Award, a non-profit that aims to support American start-up businesses and entrepreneurs, in collaboration with Miami Dade College (MDC) will present a Small Business Expo to highlight some of Miami Dade County’s own small businesses as well as business support services offered throughout the county. The small business expo will take place at the Idea Center at MDC on Friday, June 23, from 4 – 6 p.m.

The small business expo will be immediately followed by the second annual American Entrepreneurship Awards ceremony, where winners of the annual business plan competition will be announced. The ceremony will take place at Tuyo, MDC’s acclaimed restaurant located at the top floor of the Miami Culinary Institute.

All members of the community are encouraged to attend both the expo and ceremony. Both events are free of charge and open to the public

Past American Entrepreneurship Award winners from Miami-Dade County are:

  • StatLab Mobile (statlabmobile.com): a complete mobile laboratory with the capabilities to test blood and urine samples on site at any location. Their goal is to provide quality blood testing for the insured and the uninsured at a fraction of the traditional cost.

About the American Entrepreneurship Award

The American Entrepreneurship Award was launched in 2015 as an annual award with a $500,000 funding commitment from its founding sponsor, The Libra Group.
