Updated Public Notice – Notice of Rulemaking and Teleconference Meeting – District Board of Trustees of Miami Dade College

As previously noticed on May 19, 2020, The District Board of Trustees of Miami Dade College will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.  The meeting will begin at 8:00 a.m.

It will be held in-person at the Wolfson Campus located at 300 N.E. 2nd Avenue, Miami, Florida in the Chapman Conference Center (Room 3210) and via livestream at https://www.mdc.edu/livestream.

Persons seeking to attend the in-person meeting will have to pass a temperature screening checkpoint, must wear a mask at all times, and follow social distancing guidelines.  Persons who do not pass the temperature screening checkpoint will not be allowed to enter the campus.  Persons not wearing or refusing to wear a mask, or refuse to follow social distancing guidelines may be escorted off Campus by designated officials.  These persons can continue to access the meeting via livestream.

As previously noticed, The District Board of Trustees will consider the amendment of the following Rule during the meeting:

Policy III-15 – Electronic Transfer of Funds

RULE SUMMARY:
The amended Rule will update the process under which the College may execute electronic fund transfers.
