UNIVISION MIAMI TO HOST “IMMIGRATION: KNOW YOUR RIGHTS” TOWN HALL  

Radio Mambí 710 AM, Univision Miami 23, El Nuevo Herald and Miami Dade College will host a Town Hall to answer pressing concerns on immigration issues affecting South Floridians

WHAT:           Univision Miami’s radio and television stations, Radio Mambí 710 AM and Univision Miami 23, in collaboration with El Nuevo Herald and Miami Dade College (MDC) will host “Immigration: Know Your Rights,” a town hall meeting to address immigration concerns.

Award-winning Univision News journalists Bernadette Pardo of Radio Mambí 710 AM and José Alfonso Almora of WQBA 1140 AM and “Noticias 23” will moderate the event.

A panel of immigration attorneys and experts will address the future of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), issues of importance to DREAMers, the status of green card holders and the elimination of the “wet foot/dry foot” policy affecting the Cuban community. The panel will also discuss the current wave of deportation raids and the effect of Executive Orders on immigration.

MDC students and the community in attendance will have the opportunity to ask questions via Facebook Live, Facebook.com/Univision23Miami and Facebook.com/RadioMambi710 throughout the open forum.

Immigration: Know Your Rights” will broadcast LIVE simultaneously via radio Mambí 710 AM and Uforia, and covered LIVE on Univision Miami’s “Noticias 23” at 6 p.m.
