MIAMI, June 1, 2016 – Nothing says “I love you, Dad,” like eggs benedict, a perfectly-cooked steak or a juicy gourmet burger. This Father’s Day, Tuyo restaurant will roll out the red carpet for fathers with a beautifully-crafted brunch fit for a king on Sunday, June 19, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
The crown jewel on the top floor of the Miami Culinary Institute (MCI) at Miami Dade College (MDC), the restaurant offers one of South Florida’s most elegant dining experiences with unparalleled panoramic views of the downtown skyline and Biscayne Bay.
Prepared by Tuyo’s Executive Chef Victor Santos, starters will include Colombian-style Confit Duck Empanadas served with a Black Mission Fig Dipping Sauce; Open Blue Cobia Ceviche and Local Burrata and Heirloom Tomato Salad.
Delicious entrées include a Bone-in NY Strip Steak with Roasted Yukon Gold Wedges, Creamed Spinach and Tomato Confit Bordelaise; Arepa Cakes topped with Mojo-Roasted Pork, Two Poached Eggs and Roasted Tomatillo Salsa; the amazing Tuyo Burger served on a Brioche Bun with Aged White Cheddar and Shallot Marmalade; Pan-Roasted American Red Snapper on Coconut-Jasmine Rice; and Roasted Organic Half-Chicken with Smoked Potato Puree, Crispy Kale and Caramelized Cipollini Onions.
