Miami, Aug. 21, 2017 – Miami Dade College’s (MDC) award-winning rooftop restaurant, Tuyo, has unveiled its next two Miami Spice menus- Share and It’s Love- that offer an exclusive culinary experience that pays homage to Florida’s delicious fresh local ingredients and flavors. For the first time, Tuyo is also offering a lunch menu for Miami Spice diners to enjoy.
Tuyo’s next two menus, created by acclaimed Executive Chef Victor Santos, feature a three-course meal with a gastronomic experience to remember. The Share menu (Sept. 5- 16) allows guests to share delectable offerings pleasing to the palate. Appetizers include Charred Shishito Peppers, Snapper Ceviche, Tomatillo Flatbread, “Paella” Stuffed Piquillo Pepper, Crab Rangoon and Buffalo Cauliflower. Entrees feature Pan Roasted Pork Tenderloin, Mushroom Crespelle, Roasted Half Green Circle Chicken and Herb Crusted Tuna Steak. Dessert options include Profiteroles, Strawberries and Cream and Warm Brownie Platter.
The It’s Love menu (Sept. 19 – Sept. 30) will present classic meals with a fresh twist. Starters include Roasted Young Beet Salad, Wagyu Meatballs and Laughing Bird Shrimp Toast. Main dishes feature Filet of Alaskan Halibut, Hearts of Palm Risotto, Chermoula Rubbed Rack of Lamb and Pan Roasted Venison Medallions. For dessert, guests can choose Tiramisu, Triple Chocolate Cheesecake and Raspberry Almond Bar.
The Tuyo lunch menu will offer a choice of the Soup of the Day or Kale and Quinoa Salad to start. Entrees feature the Tuyo Burger with shallot marmalade and white cheddar on a brioche bun with fries, or Pan Roasted Black Grouper with chickpea and orzo salad, shaved radish and Dijon vinaigrette. Crème Brulee of the Day will be offered for dessert.
Located on the top floor of the Miami Culinary Institute (MCI) at MDC, Tuyo offers one of South Florida’s most elegant dining experiences, first-class service, and an unparalleled panoramic view of the downtown skyline and Biscayne Bay. The Miami Spice lunch menu promotion is $23 per person (not including beverage, tax or gratuity), and is available from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. Mondays – Fridays. The Miami Spice dinner menu promotion is $39 per person (not including beverage, tax or gratuity), and is available from 6-10 p.m. Tuesdays – Thursday; 6-10:30 p.m. Friday & Saturday from August 1 through September 30. Wine Pairing is $19 for two glasses. The Miami Spice Cocktail is $10.
