Miami, July 13, 2018 – Why settle for only one Miami Spice menu? Miami Dade College’s (MDC) acclaimed rooftop restaurant, Tuyo, will once again offer a culinary tour around the world with a new menu being unveiled every two weeks. In addition, the Bistro @ Tuyo will offer specials throughout Miami Spice, which runs Aug. 1 – Sept. 30.
Tuyo’s Miami Spice experience begins with Summer in New England, Aug. 1 – 18. Other menus will highlight Southern France, Southeast Asia, and the American South.
Created by Tuyo Executive Chef Victor Santos, the New England menu will feature Middleneck Clams “Stuffies,” Heirloom Tomato Salad and Johnny Cakes for starters. Main dishes include Guinness-Battered Fish and Chips, 24-Hour Brisket, Georges Bank Cod, and Lobster Dinner. Desserts options include Strawberry Rhubarb Cobbler, Blueberry “Slump,” and Boston Cream Pie.
Tuyo offers one of South Florida’s most elegant dining experiences, first-class service and an unparalleled panoramic view of the downtown skyline and Biscayne Bay. The Miami Herald calls Tuyo “a smart addition to the Miami dining scene,” while Miami Magazine characterizes the restaurant as “a sexy, modern, Manhattan-meets-Miami space that is metropolitan and cozy.” Open Table diners regularly rate Tuyo as one of the city’s best eateries for ambiance, scenic views, romantic appeal, service, cuisine and overall experience. Tuyo also features an extensive list of wines from around the globe.
Miami Spice dinner is $39 per person (not including beverage, tax or gratuity), and is available from 6-10 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday from Aug. 1 through Sept. 30. Wine Flight is $19 for two glasses of wine. Signature Spice cocktail is $10 and Estrella Damm Beer $5.
