Registration Open for Miami Dade College’s 2023 Spring Miniterms!

Miami, Jan. 6, 2023 – There’s still time to register for Miami Dade College’s (MDC) spring semester at eight campuses throughout the county. Starting on Monday, Jan. 23, MDC will offer four separate miniterms that can be completed in as little as eight weeks.

MDC offers hundreds of degree pathways leading to associate and bachelor’s degrees. Students can also choose from numerous short-term workforce programs and courses to acquire skills and industry certifications in growing sectors, including in-demand tech fields such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity, to name a few. Classes are still available in four modalities – In-person, MDC LIVE, blended and online.

Significant financial aid and many scholarships are available for new students as well as those who once started classes at the College but were unable to complete their degree. For example:

The Last Mile Scholarship, which offers financial resources to students who left college with 13 or fewer credits hours remaining, to complete their first associate degree.

The Welcome Back Sharks Scholarship, that provides financial assistance to students who last attended MDC after high school graduation during the Fall 2021 term, or before.

Open Door Grant, aimed at supporting the unemployed and underemployed through training and education to start or advance their careers.
