The District Board of Trustees of Miami Dade College will hold a special meeting beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, October 17, 2016, and will consider, decide and act upon certain pending matters related to or arising out of USP3 #2015-20-10 (Public Private Partnership for the Development of a Mixed Use Project at 520 Biscayne Boulevard), including (i) Amended Recommended Order of Dismissal (DOAH Case No 16-04947BID) and Exceptions to such Amended Recommended Order and (ii) President’s recommendation for authorization to negotiate a comprehensive agreement with the 1st ranked proposer, PRH Investments, LLC / The Related Group.
The meeting will be held at the Wolfson Campus located at 300 NE 2nd Avenue, Miami, Florida, in the James K. Batten Community Room (Room 2106).
If a person decides to appeal any decision made at this meeting, he or she will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be heard.

In addition, pursuant to Section 286.011(8), Florida Statutes, and at the request of legal counsel, a litigation shade meeting attorney-client session will be held on Monday, October 17, 2016 beginning at approximately 8:40 a.m. at the Wolfson Campus located at 300 N.E. 2nd Avenue, Miami, Florida, President’s Conference Room (Room 1479), to discuss matters relating to settlement negotiations or strategy related to litigation expenditures in the following pending litigation matters/cases /appeals: Nader+Museu Limited Liability, Limited Partnership v. Miami Dade College and PRH Investments, LLC / The Related Group, DOAH Case No. 16-4947BID (USP3 2015-20-10); Nader+Museu Limited Liability, Limited Partnership v. Miami Dade College, Case No. 2016-018355 (CA 01)(02)(11th Judicial Circuit, Miami Dade County); and Miami Dade College v. Nader+Museu Limited Liability, Limited Partnership, Case No. 3D16-1803 (Third District Court of Appeal). The following listed persons will be entitled to attend this session:

The entire shade session shall be recorded by a certified court reporter, and is expected to last approximately one hour. The reporter shall record the times of commencement and termination of the session, all discussion and proceedings, the names of all persons present at any time, and the names of all persons speaking. No portion of the session shall be off the record. The court reporter’s notes shall be fully transcribed and filed with the entity’s clerk within a reasonable time after the meeting. The transcript shall be made part of the public record upon conclusion of the litigation.
Following the litigation shade meeting, The District Board of Trustees of Miami Dade College will continue their special meeting at the Wolfson Campus located at 300 NE 2nd Avenue, Miami, Florida, in the James K. Batten Community Room (Room 2106) as noticed herein.
