Public Notice – Notice of Rulemaking and Notice of Meeting – District Board of Trustees of Miami Dade College

The  District Board  of  Trustees  of  Miami  Dade  College  will  hold  its monthly  meeting  on  Tuesday,   June 21, 2022.  The meeting  will   begin  at  8:00 a.m.  It will  be held at the Kendall  Campus located  at  11011 SW 104th Street, Miami, Florida in Building R, Room R402 and via livestream at https://www.mdc.edu/livestream.

During the meeting, The District Board of Trustees will consider the amendment of the below Rule:

RULE NUMBER /TITLE: Policy I-21 – Equal Access/Equal Opportunity

RULE SUMMARY:
The amended Rule will include reference to the College’s updated statement of non-discrimination which must contain the name and contact information for the Institution’s Director of Equal Opportunity Programs/ADA Coordinator/Title IX Coordinator.

The Florida Department of Education has directed compliance with this requirement.
