The District Board of Trustees of Miami Dade College will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. The meeting will begin at 8:00 a.m. The meeting will take place at the Wolfson Campus located at 300 NE 2nd Ave, Miami, Florida in the Chapman Conference Center (Room 3210) and via livestream at https://www.mdc.edu/livestream.
At the meeting, the Board of Trustees may discuss potential real estate transactions.
Please be advised that due to the Center for Disease Control’s recommendations and the College’s Recovery Plan Phase 2, the in-person attendance to this meeting will be limited. To ensure public access to the meeting once the capacity is reached in the Chapman Conference Center, the College will open an additional location on campus where persons will be able to view the meeting via the livestream video.
Persons seeking to attend the in-person meeting or enter the overflow room will have to pass a temperature screening checkpoint, must wear facial coverings at all times, and follow social distancing guidelines. Persons who do not pass the temperature screening checkpoint will not be allowed to enter the campus. Persons not wearing or refusing to wear a mask, or refuse to follow social distancing guidelines may be escorted off Campus by designated officials. These persons can continue to access the meeting via livestream.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made at this meeting, he or she will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be heard.
