Next Tech Generation: MDC Launches Inaugural Summer Tech Program to Train-up High School Students

Miami, April 13, 2021 – As Miami experiences a technology boom, Miami Dade College’s (MDC) School of Engineering and Technology (EnTec) proffers its very first Next Tech Generation program offering multiple free courses and camps to prepare high school students for the in-demand jobs in Miami’s burgeoning tech ecosystem.

The Next Tech Generation program will provide free tuition, book stipend and industry certification support for technology summer classes. Students can select online credit courses in cybersecurity, cloud computing, data analysis, programming or IT. The program will take place during the second six-week summer session, from June 21 to August 2. Those who complete the program will receive vouchers to take certification exams.
